On 14 October, Taylor’s University signed two new requisitions with Axe Talent: a Professor in Computer Science and a Professor in Family Business. Both searches are now under way, and both are retained, which means the university has asked us to find and assess the right person rather than forward applications.
Taylor’s, a top private university in Asia-Pacific, has been hiring senior research faculty through Axe Talent since mid-2026. The Computer Science chair extends a search line that the School of Computer Science opened earlier this year. The published job description for the Professor in Computer Science states the bar in numbers, covering publications by quartile, external grants held as principal investigator, PhD students supervised to completion as main supervisor and the Scopus h-index, so a researcher can read it before the first call.
The Professor in Family Business opens a new direction: a chair in Taylor’s business school, in a region where most large companies are family-owned and where the subject has a research audience that few other places can offer.
How to apply for a professor role at Taylor’s University through Axe Talent
Write to natalia@axetalent.com with your CV, or book twenty minutes on Natalia’s Calendar. We read a research record the way the hiring panel will, and we built Axe Builder, our resume builder for researchers, which turns an ORCID iD into an academic resume with citations, h-index, journal quartiles and Crossref data already in place, to do that reading. Before anything goes to the university, we tell you plainly where you stand against the bar for the Computer Science or Family Business chair.
